What would you do if you found a fire-damaged Ferrari F355 for sale?
For the team at Grind Hard Plumbing Co, it was simple: you buy it and swap in a V10 TDI engine from a VW Touareg to make what they claim is the world’s first diesel-powered Ferrari.
Could this turn out to be the ultimate Ferrari rally car?

I can think of a few words for this, but they’re not appropriate for this, or any, forum of public speaking.
Not watching the video simply out of principle that I don’t feed trolls.

Yeah. I've had plenty of wacky, nonsensical ideas for projects, so it's cool to see someone actually make their wild ideas come to life.

That's pretty cool. I was hesitant to click bc so many of these youtubers have cringe editing and content for what could be a cool idea. This one didn't bother me, early Mighty Car Mods vibes.

Is it better than simply letting an F355 go to waste? Sure.
Does it fit the ethos of what the car was built to do, even remotely? Not at all. It reminds me of jacked up pickups that run super low profile tires. Do people do it? Sure, but... does it make much sense? Not a bit.
That and I'm a bit of an audiophile. Things that sound good excite me. Speaking as someone who has spent half his adult life working around diesels, they just... don't.
