We’ve all seen the videos, we all know the memes: Mustang + cars and coffee = something spectacular.
Just to see if the impossible was possible, I took our Club Spec Mustang to a local cars and coffee. And the results will astound you.
I drove there. No drama.
I parked. No drama.
And, are you ready? I left the site without spinning out into a curb or mowing down a ton of innocent bystanders.
The morning was hosted by Orlando Cars and Coffee at Henry’s Depot in Sanford, Florida, maybe 45 minutes away from the GRM offices.
Why attend a cars and coffee where there are autocrosses and track days out there? It’s a chance to see friends. I saw people I know from autocross, road racing and even drag racing back in the day–way back in the day when 10-second Honda prowled Orlando’s streets.
We looked at cars, we chatted, we reminisced about old times. I enjoy the community aspect.
It was also a chance to show off our Club Spec Mustang–and I think we might have put on someone’s radar for a future autocross car.
