How about a car that’s likely spent more time sliding sideways than driving in a straight line? That’s right, the Mk2 Ford Escort previously owned by pro tire shredder Ken Block.

Acquired by Block and his Hoonigan Racing Division in 2008, the Escort has since been upgraded with numerous modifications, including a 2.5-liter Millington Diamond inline-four (capable of revving all the way to 9000 rpm, of course), Sadev six-speed sequential, Reiger adjustable dampers, Rocket Bunny wide-body kit and the all-important upright handbrake lever.

Most famous for its numerous appearances on Hoonigan’s YouTube channel, the car was also included in the Hoonigan car pack DLC in the Forza video game series and, most recently, appeared in the Petersen Automotive Museum’s “People’s Champ: The Impact of Ken Block” exhibition.

In addition to a Utah title, the Mk2 Escort is accompanied by extra wheels, various pieces of memorabilia and spare parts, as well as a collection of records.

I honestly wish I was in a place where I could purchase this car. Yep, he was gone way too soon in life.

They look like custom fluid reservoir(s) for something. Maybe brakes? Can't read the labels to know for sure

The back side looks to be blank:

It has floor pivot pedals, so those are the reservoirs for clutch, front, and rear master cylinders.
