What tire will the cool kids be running in autocross and time trials during the 2026 season? Check back with GRM later next week: Our latest tire to test–Bridgestone’s new Potenza RE-71RZ–just landed.
What about the new Vitour Tempesta P1 X-01R? We’ll have data on that one, too, as well as the outgoing Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS–and maybe one or two other surprises.

Why this all matters now? To meet SCCA eligibility for autocross and time trial competition, tires must be available by January 1.

31st. We should have an announcement about when the story will go live before it drops, though, so hopefully you'll have some warning and you can let your family know why you're ignoring them and sitting in front of the computer refreshing your browser obsessively.
