Only if Feras doesn't show up...

What makes a track car unique? Ask a room of 100 racers, and you’ll likely get 100 different answers–some long, some short.
Such is the case for this C7 Corvette driven by Allen Patten. When asked what makes the Corvette the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car, Patten simply wrote: “It's possibly the fastest VIN car in the United States.”
Backing up that claim? A supercharged LT4 V8 good for 1000 horsepower, for starters, with the Louis Gigliotti Racing-built Corvette also upgraded with Michelin slicks, Penske dampers, Emco Motorsports transaxle, custom 8Twelve wheels–18x12 inches front, 18x13 inches rear–plus aero upgrades from Zebulon Aero with a custom Louis Gigliotti Racing flat floor.
We will find out if Allen has the fastest VIN car in the U.S. at our Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge Presented by Grassroots Motorsports, set for October 22 at Eagles Canyon Raceway, where it will battle a growing field of the fastest cars in the country for the title of Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car.
What’s eligible to compete for that title? Virtually any vehicle, so long as both driver and car can pass a safety inspection. If you can manage to pass that, register today.
In addition to several prizes and awards to give out, we’ll also be joined by the wildly quick cars of the Tire Rack SCCA Time Attack Challenge.
The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge is presented by Grassroots Motorsports in association with Wilwood, Vitour Tire, CRC Industries, Vbox Motorsport and Red Line Oil, with trophies from BimmerWorld, Nine Lives Racing and Falken Tire.
