That seems like a nice track list, and quite casual on mileage and time from a one lap standpoint. Hopefully in the future they get out to tracks like The Ridge, Utah Motorsports, chuckwalla, High Plains, etc to add some big square state mileage.

Wish you didn’t have to wait a whole year for the next Tire Rack One Lap of America Presented by Grassroots Motorsports? What if we told you that you didn’t have to?
That’s right, 2025 is getting a second One Lap event.
Set for October 19-23, the five-day adventure visits iconic West Coast venues including Buttonwillow, Laguna Seca and Sonoma.

GRM contributor–and habitual tire tester–Andy Hollis and his wife Ann are planning to run the event in their McLaren 720S.
Registration goes live July 10 at 3:00 p.m. EST.

Yeah it's only 850 miles or so for the entire thing.
Interesting. I don't really have a track-worthy street car right now, and the Las Vegas registration on Sunday overlaps with the NASA SoCal race that I had planned to run. Otoh, I'll be at Buttonwillow anyway, so maybe just hang out another day to spectate?
I notice they don't say which Buttonwillow track they're driving, circuit or classic. They didn't specify the Thunderhill track either.
I've heard "rumor" this is the beginning of a "forking" of OneLap where there are several reduced timeline/mileage events in the year (potentially being point-to-point); while the "OG OneLap" gets increased mileage from the norm of the last couple years (3600-4000+ miles).
apparently SCCA Targa, all the assorted "Drag [Multi-Day Trip]" events, and the last several years of 25+ team waitlists all add up to the realization of this... strategy? Incarnations?
as is sometimes said: the only constant in life is change.

I like the sound of that!
In reply to John Welsh :
Road Atlanta has one, I believe. Plus, I think Daytona’s can be wet as well. I guess, technically, you just need a tanker/firetruck, right?

Or just wait for the regular afternoon rain shower.

Well, that, too.
