Each day that passes that I don't work on my car, makes me slightly more worried. Can't wait to see everyone there!

Everything you love about autocross, but in a more relaxed–but still fiercely competitive–environment?
Look no further than the autocross portion of the Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge presented by Tire Rack and powered by AutoBidMaster, our annual motorsports festival that celebrates extreme speed, penny-pinching and ingenuity.
While cars built for no more than $2000 headline the event, entries built, prepped or even bought for more are welcome to compete in the autocross, too.
Prefer to live your life a quarter mile at a time? Your over-budget build is welcome to compete in the drag racing session, too.
Regardless of which venue you choose, we’ll have special awards and prizes to hand out for over-budget entries in addition to those reserved for under-budget cars.
The Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge returns to Gainesville Raceway in Gainesville, Florida, April 18-19.
Sign up now to secure your entry for the 2026 event and keep an eye on the $2000 Challenge website for future updates.
The Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge is presented by Tire Rack and powered by AutoBidMaster, in Association with HPX Show, CRC Industries, A&A Manufacturing, Knight's Automotive and BendPak.
