This sporty Si weighs less than several sports cars. (Calling out the Supra here.)

In a world of performance cars that are either partially or only offered with an automatic, Honda’s iconic Civic Si remains an outlier, as the only transmission offering is a six-speed manual.
“But what’s it weigh!?” we’re certain you’re shouting from the edge of your seat.
Well, luckily, the answer you seek is just a little further down the page, as we placed a very special version of the 2026 Civic Si (that’s a story for a different day) with a full tank of gas on our Intercomp SW777RFX Wireless Professional Scale System.
While Honda lists the curb weight for the latest Civic Si at 2952 pounds, we found this Civic Si weighing in at 2971 pounds–a difference of 19 pounds for everyone keeping score at home.

I'll admit that it puts a smile on my face every time I see a (genuine) Civic Si since I know all of them have a manual transmission. ![]()

Can confirm - 2025 Si makes a great daily.
Current owner of a UGP Si.
A sub 3k lb car in this day in age is an absolute revelation! Props to Honda for pulling it off, esp since these aren't exactly small cars anymore. Bravo!
Totally happy that the Civic Si is still with us.
If we had to buy a new car today, it’s on the (very) short list.
Also, trying to think when we last didn’t have an Si. Maybe in the mid ’90s.

To be fair though, I don't think there was ever a Civic Si that was heavier than the Supra which was being sold at the time.
