Good to see the GT classes back at Lime Rock.

More of the same isn’t always a bad thing, especially when what you’re getting is more of the thing you already enjoy.
Take, for example, IMSA’s 2027 schedule. It’s virtually identical to the 2026 schedule, albeit with a handful of changes, the most notable being the Michelin Pilot Challenge’s return to Lime Rock Park for a headline race September 23-25.
Likewise, the 2027 Rolex 24 At Daytona will take place one weekend later than it traditionally has, moving to January 28-31, with the Roar Before the Rolex 24 set for January 22-24.
Besides those changes, however, everything else is basically a rinse and repeat of 2026:

“Each season presents an opportunity to build on IMSA’s incredible momentum, and the 2027 schedule represents the very best of our longstanding partnerships and world class venues,” said IMSA President John Doonan, also noting appreciation for “the cooperation from our fellow sanctioning bodies as we all work together in good faith to minimize date conflicts and create the strongest possible calendar for teams, partners, and fans.
2027 also hosts milestones for some of the most significant endurance races and race tracks in motorsport history: The 75th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, the 65th Rolex 24 At Daytona, 30th Motul Petit Le Mans and the 70th anniversary of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
