“I believe I have one of the fastest G82 M4’s in the United States,” driver Adam Slowinski says of his 2024 BMW M4 Competition xDrive, and he even brought some receipts to back up that claim:
Currently capable of over 800 horsepower at wheels–with stock turbos, Slowinski points out–the M4 has also been fully gutted and features a G82 GT4-style aero package. Our favorite mod listed, however, is a tie between “carbon carbon carbon” and “more carbon.”
What’s next for Slowinski and the M4? “I hope to keep pushing this car and innovating creative ways to extract both more speed from the car and from myself,” he says.
Fitting, then, that he’s entered the BMW to compete in the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge Presented by Grassroots Motorsports, as he'll have to push both himself and the M4 in the battle for the title of Ultimate Track Car.
Just about anything is eligible to compete so long as both car and driver pass a safety inspection. If that applies to you, enter your car today. We also have several prizes and awards to give out, and entrants get coverage in a future issue of Grassroots Motorsports.
Our annual search for the fasted track machine on four wheels takes place at Eagles Canyon Raceway on October 22 and will once again join the Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials Nationals Powered by Hagerty.
The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge is presented by Grassroots Motorsports in association with Wilwood, Vitour Tire, CRC Industries, Vbox Motorsport and Red Line Oil, with trophies from BimmerWorld, Nine Lives Racing and Falken Tire.
