While most of us can repurpose some factory Porsche bits to make bargain brake ducts, the same likely can’t (and probably shouldn’t) be said for a Formula 1 team.
Cadillac details the process required to design, test and fabricate a single brake duct for its F1 car, from initial sketches to the physical, ready-to-race item.
