We noticed something on the listing for our BimmerWorld TA5R wheels: Works with the factory BMW center caps.
Let’s see how they fit.
Answer: perfectly.
But ours were in deplorable condition, so we called our longtime BMW buddy Rennie Bryant at Redline BMW Performance: Did he have some fresh ones?
He did.
BimmerWorld carries them, too.
To swap out the center caps, you just need to remove the wheels and snap in the new ones from behind.
Since we had the wheels off and the car had over 3000 miles on its new tires plus some track abuse, we rotated the rear tires to the front at the same time.
