The open road. The adventure. The romance. The unknown.
Our E46-chassis M3 has been sitting for a few, so it’s time to take it out on the road–from our home base near Daytona, Beach, Florida, all way across to the west coast. Of Florida.
We’re going to Tampa with a stop in Orlando for a cars and coffee hosted by Not Another Film Lab. Final destination in Tampa is for a zine fest–a chance to celebrate the printed medium.
[Print is dead? Zine fests say otherwise.]
Pre-trip prep? This one just needs the basics: a wipedown with some quick detail plus a check of fluids and tire pressures. Might need some gas, too.
See the M3 out on I-4 this weekend? Wave.

I should put it in the car now....
Ormond to Tampa and back, with a stop in Orlando, with no problems at all. The M3 felt great on the highway. 
Added bonus: I got to hang out with John Hoopes.
And a photo from the stop in Orlando for a cars and coffee hosted by Not Another Film Lab. Someone else also brought an E46 M3. We got to compare notes. 
Just thinking back about this day: It was fun, the M3 is a dream to drive, and I need to take it on more road trips.
We have the $2000 Challenge this weekend, but maybe we take it somewhere next weekend.
